Is running 4 days a week for 1 hour enough to maintain weight?
José O. asked:
I started college recently and I don;t have enough time to go for a run as I did during vacations. I can only go 4 days, Mon, Wed, Sat and Sun. Is running for 1 hour 4 days a week enough to maintain weight? I used to do it everyday , but it is not possible for now.

it is more than enough as long as you can do it 4 days a week and eat healthy meals.
they recommend that you do exercise 3 days a week for 30 minutes at your target heart rate. You should be fine. If you are worried about it watch what you eat.
Hope it works out or you.
Hi, how are you doing!
If your concerned about losing weight try reading the following article!
Eat What You Like and Lose Weight. Really!
It will certainly help. The real answer lies in the net calories consumed. I’ve seen lots of fat people on the running trail.
yeah even doing 20 mins on those days will help maintain your weight!
Sure it is….think intensity, not number of days. Increase the distance you run by increasing the speed you run. Of course allow a slow day as well, but with 3 days off a week, your body should have a lot of recovery time. Listen to your body. Also be mindful of your diet. You may want to modify just a bit from your running every day diet. Not much, but do look at what you are consuming.
I think it is, but again all depends on what you are eating. I know in college it is hard to keep healthy foods around, it is easier to get junk food. so watch out.. watch your calories and fats….
