Is it to early to take a 4 week old baby on a four hour flight?
Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009To feed or not to feed a 4 week old?

I am getting mixed opinions from people, so please give me advice… I have a 4 week old, my doctor says to feed her every 3-4 hours and let her cry if she wants food before that. I have been feeding her every 2 hours because she likes to eat that often. Should I listen to the doctor or feed her anytime she is hungry?
She usually eats 4 oz’s but sometimes it can be 5 or 6.

Should my 18 week old baby be on a 4 hour feeding schedule by niow, instead of a 3 hour schedule?

I keep trying to feed my baby every 4 hours, at 6, 10, 2 and 6 with a dream feed at 10 pm, but she doesn’t seem to be able to last between 2 and 6, she always ends up having a bottle at 5. This means she wont settle at her bedtime at 6.30 because she likes a bottle before bed and is too full up to have one because she had it at five. She has been screaming before bed the last 2 nights. Should I go back to the 3 hour routine? Its just that books like the baby whisperer say that a 3 hour routine is inappropriate for a four month old. Is it? Any ideas appreciated..
I am not a bad mother!! She doesn’t scream because I wont give her a bottle its because she is full up because she had one earlier at 5, she wont take it even when I offer it!! I would NEVER

I would NEVER not feed a baby because the clock said it wasn’t right. I put her on a schedule because she seemed more contented on it, she has just changed now, maybe she needs solids. Thanks for nothing those who gave such horrible answers!! : (
