Okay Im 5′6 and I weigh 170 and I wanna lose between 20-35 pounds and I’m 26. I work 4 12 hour shifts a week and so I’d only be able to workout 3 days a week. I’m planning on doing 45 minutes cardio and about 45 minutes weight training just to tone up while I lose weight. So would 3 days a week be good enough to lose the weight I want to lose? Is it time to consider a work week of 4 ten hour days?
Seems like this would help kill a number of birds with a single stone. People would save an entire day driving back and forth from work. It would cut back on fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. It would cut back on energy usage in office buildings and factories.
Heck, it would even cut back day care cost for working parents.
What do you think of a 4 day work week?

Week 2 I only work 24 hours, so I can add some of the 45 hours of previous overtime to week 2 if I choose but I feel like I’m giving my employer free time and money, week 3 goes back to 85 hours (45 overtime) and week 4 is 24 hours, will I lose more money to taxes if I claim the 85 hours in one week and 24 hours the second week? I get paid every two weeks.
